Ultra Low Temperature Dry Block/Wet Calibrator(-115℃~50℃) offers a consistent and precise temperature setting that is both stable and uniform, making them highly portable and convenient for on-site calibration. This rapid temperature stabilization and enhanced calibration speed address the challenges of transport and mobility, providing an efficient solution for calibrating a wide range of temperature-measuring instruments, including temperature sensors, standard thermometers, dilatation thermometers, thermocouples, and thermal resistors.

The calibrators are used widely in machinery, chemical industry, food, pharmaceuticals and other industries.
The new UCI-SL-AB-CAL eliminates the common problems of slow heat-up times and temperature inaccuracies. This is a common occurrence that can exist in other cheaper makes of dry block calibrators leading to an unnecessarily long calibration time.
The latest generation of our dry-block calibrators adopts the most advanced heating principle design globally. They have a fast heat-up time and constantly holds a stable temperature and rapid cooling. This all significantly improves the calibration efficiency. The accuracy is higher than other manufacturers through reliable high-precision temperature control and high-precision sensors.
The technology meets international standards; the touch screen operation is the first in the world that is also fast and straightforward to use.

What Is A Dry-Block Calibrator?

A dry-block calibrator, also known as a dry-well calibrator, is a device used to calibrate temperature measurement instruments such as thermocouples, thermometers, thermistors, and resistance temperature detectors (RTDs). Unlike other calibration methods that might use liquid baths, dry-block calibrators provide a stable and uniform temperature source in a dry environment.

How It Works

Heating/Cooling: The dry-block calibrator heats or cools a metal block to a precise temperature.

Insertion: The block has pre-drilled holes where temperature sensors or probes are inserted.

Stabilization: The calibrator stabilizes at the set temperature to ensure uniform heat distribution.

Measurement: The readings from the sensors are compared to the calibrator’s displayed temperature, and any discrepancies are noted and adjusted.

Applications

Dry-block calibrators are widely used in industries where precise temperature control is crucial, such as:

Pharmaceuticals: Ensuring medications are stored at correct temperatures.

Food and Beverage: Maintaining product quality and safety.

Manufacturing: Ensuring machinery and equipment function properly.
