This replacement for the QVR/S unit allows for precise temperature adjustments, with a load current capacity of 17A and a full range of output voltage from 0 to 98%. Perfect for heat lamp control, it's a must-have for any kitchen environment.
A large in-house triac enabled the unit to handle high inrush currents. Easy front panel mounting via a single hole and locknut arrangement.
The use of these types of power controllers is where the simplicity of control is required. They operate on the same principle as a light dimmer by slicing the voltage wave smaller and smaller to reduce the power output.
They are used to control catering heat lamps in catering equipment and infrared lamps on vacuum forming machines as they prevent the blinking on-off effect.
