Air sensing fast-acting thermocouple sensors are used to measure the temperature of air and gases. The probe tube is open-ended with air holes around the tip. This ensures that the sensing point is able to sense the change in temperature as quickly as possible.
The standard probe length is 6 x 50mm but can be made to the measurements required.
