Thermocouple Double Pin

Bayonet adapters are for use with bayonet-style thermocouples, they allow for a positive fit that ensures the tip of the thermocouple sensor is in contact with its surface. They are used in applications where other thermocouple sensors would be easy to be dislodged giving incorrect readings.
