Mica Plate Heater

The mica plate heater is sheathed in rust-resistance steel or stainless steel sheath as it provides physical strength and good thermal conductivity. Specially selected mica grade and thickness are used to insulate the windings, providing excellent thermal conductivity and dielectric strength. This type of heating element is chosen for the various design options available. They operate at temperatures up to 260°C and watt densities up to 6watts per cm². Temperatures are ideally measured using leaf type thermocouples that fit under the surface of the heaters.
