Mica Plate Heater

Mica plate heater, is sheathed in rust-resistance steel or stainless steel sheath as it provides physical strength and good thermal conductivity. Specially selected mica grade and thickness are used to insulate the windings, providing excellent thermal conductivity and dielectric strength. This type of heating element is chosen for the various design options available. They operate at temperatures up to 260°C and watt densities up to 6watts per cm². Temperatures are ideally measured using leaf type thermocouples that fit under the surface of the heaters.

These heaters are available with various terminal options: Screw terminals / Pin socket or with flexible wire leads. Different mounting holes can be provided as per customer specifications.
