What are Cartridge Heaters used for?

3/8” cartridge heater available in stock in lengths of 1.5” to 6” and wattages of 50w to 500w. Other designs are available on request.

Cartridge heaters are typically used for heating platens and moulding tools within the plastic and rubber industries. They are high powered, high watt densities so will heat a process rapidly and can go up to temperatures of 750 deg C
