Piezo igniters 22mm single is a type of ignition that is used in stoves and gas grills. They use the principle of piezo-electricity, which, in short, is the electric charge that accumulates in some materials in response to high pressure. They are made of a small spring-loaded hammer which creates a voltage when a button is pressed. The sudden forceful action produces a high voltage and electrical discharge, which ignites the gas.
