A Honeywell Q309A gas thermocouple 900mm is a device that measures the temperature of a gas flame in a heating system. It consists of two metal wires that are joined at one end and connected to a gas valve at the other end. The thermocouple generates a small electric current when it is heated by the flame, which signals the gas valve to stay open and supply gas to the burner. The Q309A model has a length of 900mm, which is suitable for most standard installations. It is compatible with Honeywell gas valves and can be easily replaced if damaged or worn out. Also known as Robertshaw 1960-027 Gas Thermocouple.
Will also fit other models such as Worcester 240/Highflow/H
ATTENTION: The 1960-027 has standard thermocouple threads, and WILL NOT fit applications with metric threads.
